The Gilson SP-12CA splitter was designed by and for the California Department of Transportation to meet CalTrans C 201 requirements. It has a 1.9-cu-ft gate release hopper and 10, 2¼-in. fixed chutes that process as much as 11/8-in. particle sizes. Two welded steel sample pans have a 1.2-cu-ft capacity. Additional SPA-120 and aluminum SPA-122 pans also are available.
