The Case 621E wheel loader, like other Case E Series wheel loaders, features an electronically controlled engine and a new cab. The operator environment has the same ergonomic design introduced with the 721E, 821E and 921E models. The machine features easy access to fluid-level sight gauges, centralized grease fittings and daily service checkpoints visible from ground level. A one-piece electric lift hood gives operators and technicians easy access to the entire engine area.
Operators can match power and fuel economy to their application by choosing from among three power curves ó max, standard and economy power ó and four work modes ó max, standard, economy and auto. For high-production activities such as aggregate operations that require high breakout force and fast cycling, the operator may use maximum power at all times. For operations that involve hauling lighter materials, economy mode will complete the task with the greatest fuel efficiency. In auto mode, the electronically controlled engine adjusts between power curves to move the maximum amount of material per gallon of fuel.
The Case 621E six-cylinder engine delivers 168 net hp. The model offers multiple idle settings to reduce fuel consumption. When the machine is idling, it automatically reduces the engine rpm, from 900 in maximum to 600 in low idle.
Case says the isolation-mounted cab is among the quietest in the industry. Numerous strategically located air diffusers provide maximum air circulation for faster, more thorough heating and cooling. The 621E offers the same interface, so it's easy to switch from one machine to the other. The 621E also offers the same ergonomic layout, combined with large switches and simplified displays that use analog gauges.
