Dust Suppression

Developed in response to extensive customer input, the DustBoss DB-M is ideal for operating conditions involving very fine dust particles. The unit generates an umbrella-shaped cloud of atomized droplets averaging 50-200 microns in size, projecting the mist about 30 ft. (9.14 m) under calm conditions.

Pulse Jet Dust Collector

A major manufacturer of masonry products has successfully employed a new, specially adapted pulse jet dust collector from Sly, Inc. The 40,000 ACFM collector vents a sand and aggregate fluid bed dryer operating at 140 F. Inlet loading for the collector is a demanding 15,000 lb./h (44 gr/cf), with outlet emissions of .02 gr/cf.

Level Scanner

The 3DLevelScanner HE from BinMaster is designed for use in storage silos containing challenging materials such as clinker, alumina and fly ash. This newest model has an operating temperature range of up to 250 F (120 C) to accommodate higher temperatures that may be present when material that has been heated in the production process is conveyed into storage silos.

Engine-Driven Welder/Generators

Miller Electric Mfg. Co. has re-engineered its Bobcat line of engine-driven welder/generators to reduce sound, weight and fuel use; offer a smaller footprint; and simplify daily maintenance. Sound on the newly designed models is reduced by as much as 33 percent, and the machine is up to 5-in. shorter and 55-lb. lighter (depending on the model).
