Hyundai Construction Equipment Extends Free Use of Hi-Mate

Hyundai Construction Equipment Americas, Inc. announced it has extended the period during which owners of Hyundai wheel loaders and full-sized excavators may use its Hi-Mate remote-management system free of charge to five years from three. The extended Hi-Mate coverage applies retroactively to any qualifying Hyundai construction machine purchased since Jan. 1, 2017.

CASE Launches All-New G Series Wheel Loaders

CASE Construction Equipment introduced the all-new G Series wheel loaders, spanning seven new models scaled for work ranging from supply yards, building construction and agriculture up to quarries and mass excavation. The new introduction brings the entire product line to Tier 4 Final compliance featuring Selective Catalytic Reduction (SCR) engine technology that increases fuel efficiency, keeps exhaust temperatures down and eliminates regeneration or lifetime diesel particulate filter (DPF) costs/maintenance.

Volvo X1 Prototype Hauler Wins Awards

The X1 prototype autonomous, battery-electric, load carrier from Volvo Construction Equipment (Volvo CE) won the International Quality Innovation Award and the Innovation of Innovations Award. In December, the HX1 was awarded the Swedish Institute for Quality’s (SIQ) Quality Innovation of the Year Award in the Potential Innovations category. On winning this accolade, it qualified to enter the international part of the competition along with approximately 100 other finalists.
