Volvo's L45F and L50F wheel loaders feature Torque Parallel loader linkage, separate working hydraulic pumps for maximum power, 100% axle differential locks, the Volvo Care Cab and long service intervals.
The Torque Parallel linkage reportedly gives both the Volvo L45F and L50F smooth, parallel lift, high tilt-back torque and good lifting power. Linkage provides pallet visibility, along with a clear view of attachments. A wide rollback angle and parallel lift action make it suitable for both material handling and pallet handling.
Both loaders feature separate power steering and load-sensing hydraulic pumps to ensure full steering power, regardless of the load. Oil flow on the load-sensing pump automatically adjusts to match load size for fuel efficiency. Differential locks reportedly offer 100% lock in both the front and rear axles.
The cabs feature reduced noise and vibration, as well as a dust filtration system. The interior is designed with controls and front-pillar mounted switches, all within easy reach and view.
The Volvo L45F and L50F are powered by a water-cooled, turbo-charged Volvo D5 4.8 liter engine. The L50F engine also includes an air-to-air intercooler. Both achieve high torque at low engine speeds. Both loaders have articulating frames for maximum ground clearance.
The L45F and L50F are offered with optional Z-bar attachment brackets. Each bracket is designed to match the machine's Torque Parallel linkage geometry. Attachment locking system is performed hydraulically from the cab.
