Terex Washing Systems Debuts Fracstac

Fracstac-150Terex Washing Systems (TWS) took the opportunity of Rock Products’ recent Frac Sand Insider conference to introduce its Fracstac modular frac plant concept to the U.S. market. According to Elaine Donaghy, marketing manager, the development of the new product is in response to extensive increased activity in the industry, and continually aiming to meet its customers’ needs. The product is due to be officially launched in early 2015 at an exclusive U.S. event.

Rainmaker Resources Reveals Lab Results

Rainmaker Resources Ltd. announced results of lab testing from its 20-hole sonic drill program on the Bray Property, Izard County, Ark. From the test work, all samples met or exceeded the standards for roundness, sphericity, acid solubility and crush resistance, according to the company.

Di-Corp. Building Edmonton Terminal

Distribution company Di-Corp will start serving a new state-of-the-art frac sand terminal near Rocky Mountain House, Alberta, Canada, located southwest of Edmonton, in early 2015 to meet rising demand for frac sand in the Western Canadian Sedimentary Basin. Di-Corp of Edmonton is building the new 30-acre facility, which will have three tracks capable of holding 95 rail cars for unloading and six silos with 2,000 tons of storage capacity.

Select Sands Drills In Arkansas

Vancouver, B.C., Canada-based resource growth and development company Select Sands Corp. announced the commencement of a drill program on its Sandtown property in Arkansas. The property is underlain by the Ordovician St. Peter sandstone formation, which is the source of Northern White frac sand selling into the major U.S. oil and gas plays.
