Mellot Co. Promotes Three
August 10, 2012 – Mellott Co. promoted three employees to new positions. The company named Brian Bell to the newly created position vice president of Parts and Service. “After a long and thorough search for the right candidate, we have found the best individual right here at home," said Rich Blake, Mellott Co. president, in a presentation to employees. "The Parts and Service business will be instrumental to the continued growth and success of Mellott Co. A united front between parts and service will help facilitate a faster growth curve.” Bell will head up the Parts and Service business with a team of competent industry professionals with a focus on quality, customer service and growth. Jim Levy, assistant service manager, was appointed general manager of service and will have responsibility for the company’s external and internal service business. Levy has been with Mellott Co. since 2001 and has risen through the ranks in various roles as crushing superintendent, service technician and assistant service manager. Pat Mearkle, manager, aftermarket support, was appointed general manager of Parts Sales and will have responsibility for the Parts Sales and Support within Mellott Co. Mearkle started with Mellott Co. in 1996 and has served in progressive roles within the sales organization.
