The Rypos ADPF self-cleaning exhaust filters are for older engines that operate on high-sulfur diesel fuel. They reduce particulate matter by more than 60%. The Rypos ADPF/C has a diesel oxidation catalyst to reduce particulate matter by up to 90% and cut carbon monoxide and hydrocarbon emissions. The ADPF/C is for newer engines using low-sulfur fuel. The filters serve both retrofit and OEM markets for off-road construction equipment and backup generators. Both filters rely on banks of sintered metal filter elements. When a microprocessor senses that the filters need regeneration, it automatically sends an electric current through the conductive fibers to heat them and burn off accumulated particles. The filters meet U.S. and Canadian standards, as well as those established by the California Air Resources Board. Rypos
