Victory Nickel Inc. announced that its subsidiary Victory Silica Ltd. has filled two senior operating positions and has ordered key pieces of equipment for its newly acquired, 400,000-tpy frac sand processing plant – the 7P Facility – located in Seven Persons, Alberta.

Iowa Board Endorses Study of Frac Sand Health Impact

According to the Decorah Newspapers, the Winneshiek, Iowa, County Board of Supervisors has unanimously endorsed a study that will address the public health impact of frac sand mining.
