Nov. 3, 2020 – Well, election day is finally here. Voting is not just a right; it is a civic duty. Loretta Lynch, former United States Attorney General, said, “Voting is how we participate in a civic society – be it for president, be it for a municipal election. It’s the way we teach our children … how to be citizens, and the importance of their voice.” Former President George W. Bush said, “We are bound by ideals that teach us what it means to be citizens. Every child must be taught these ideals. Every citizen must uphold them…. I ask you to be citizens. Citizens, not spectators. Citizens, not subjects. Responsible citizens building communities of service and a nation of character.” Now get out there and vote, if you haven’t already.
