Aug. 17, 2020 – Though the Senate Environment and Public Works Committee unanimously approved its bill, S. 2302 (116), nearly a year ago, the other three committees with partial jurisdiction – Banking, Finance and Commerce – have yet to even produce a draft, according to media sources. In the Senate, the buck stops with Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) and he is apparently in no hurry to advance infrastructure spending. So let me get this straight, your wife is the Secretary of Transportation and infrastructure spending isn’t a top priority? Like, doesn’t this even get mentioned at the dinner table? Very disappointed in the cavalier attitude he has displayed. Oh by the way, the House passed its version of the bill. Stop procrastinating, Mitch!
