Raphael Carmona has been appointed business line manager, stationary crushing and screening, North America, for Sandvik Mining and Rock Technology. He will start in this role, responsible for Canada and the United States, on Aug. 3. He will be based in the Atlanta area, where he will relocate by early 2021.
Carmona is currently the business line manager for crushing and screening in Brazil and is based in Belo Horizonte. He has 14 years of progressively responsible positions within Sandvik, most of them dedicated to crushing and screening application engineering and lifecycle sales and sales support.
Carmona acquired a Bachelor of Science degree in mechanical engineering in 2009. He also is a 2012 graduate of Sandvik’s International Mining School program and is an international mining engineer as a result.
