March 10, 2020 – Despite several major exhibitors and other smaller ones pulling out of the show amid fears of coronavirus, ConExpo-Con/Agg 2020 went on in Las Vegas. If attendees were planning on not coming, it was not evident, as more than 120,000 were expected and vibrant activity on the show floor confirmed that buyers were in the house and ready to do business. Show management noted, “We are continually monitoring the situation and will respond to any recommendations set by the U.S. Government or its agencies. We will continue to be transparent in our communications if new information develops. [We have] taken steps to address the spread of germs by providing heightened levels of cleanliness.” The show wraps up on March 14.
