The National Stone, Sand and Gravel Association (NSSGA) announced the selection of Jennifer Dugas to be its vice president, meetings and events. Dugas brings more than two decades of experience leading the strategic development and execution of association meetings and events. Dugas will join the NSSGA staff on Feb. 27 to lead NSSGA’s meetings and events that support the mission of the organization and provide value to its members.
“We are thrilled to have Jen Dugas join our team and lead our meetings and events department,” said NSSGA President and CEO Michael W. Johnson. “Jen has proven throughout her career to be a consummate professional who is results-driven, innovative and collaborative. Jen will elevate the value we provide to our members while supporting our advocacy mission across the board.”
Dugas most recently served as senior director at the American Bankers Association. She also has been integral to the success of meetings and events at NAPEO, the U.S. Chamber of Commerce and the American Bankruptcy Institute.
“I am excited to join the NSSGA team to provide a holistic approach for the association’s meetings and events which will benefit the member experience and our place in the aggregates industry,” said Dugas.
Dugas holds a bachelor’s in Psychology from the University of California, Santa Barbara. She resides in Alexandria, Va., with her husband and two children.
