As we begin the 2020 election cycle, National Stone, Sand and Gravel Association (NSSGA) Legislative & Policy Forum attendees will hear from the heads of the National Republican Senatorial Committee (NRSC) and Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee (DCCC).
Each will provide their own perspectives, one Democratic and one Republican, on the opportunities and likely outcomes of the 2020 election, and most importantly, what that could mean for you and your businesses, NSSGA said.
- Lucinda Guinn is executive director of the DCCC. Guinn will address attendees at the General Session the morning of Monday, Nov. 18. Guinn had previously worked at the DCCC during the 2008 and 2012 election cycles. Most recently, Guinn served as vice president of campaigns at EMILY’s List.
- Kevin McLaughlin, executive director of the NRSC, will speak during the Lunch with a Lawmaker session on Monday, Nov. 18. McLaughlin is a veteran Republican operative, having been with the NRSC for two previous election cycles, including 2014, which realized a net gain of nine republican seats. He previously served on Senatorial staff of Majority Whip John Cornyn (R-Texas) and the late Sen. John McCain (R-Ariz.)
