The new GT4260 is a track-mounted feeder, designed and manufactured by Astec Mobile Screens. The new track feeder is equipped with either a 12- or 15-ft. feed bin with optional static or vibrating grids.
The equipment also features an auxiliary circuit, which is standard, to power off-plant stacking conveyors. The GT4260 utilizes common components found in Astec Mobile Screens track-mounted screens like the GT206, GT145 and GT165. The machine’s high torque motors and large hopper allow users to stockpile large quantities of material quickly. An optional shredder can be added when dealing with dirt or compost material for a more efficient stockpiling operation.
The PTSC4618VM, the newest model of Astec Mobile Screens’ portable high frequency screen line, was designed with four screen decks to offer producers the most flexibility for making a wide range of products.
This proprietary product has the most amount of screening decks available for portable high frequency screens. The new model includes optional blending chutes for gradation control, as well as hydraulic or electric vibrators. Optional hydraulic run-on jack legs for stationary capabilities.
Astec Mobile Screens has added an optional extended overs conveyor on its GT165 track-mounted screening plant. The extended conveyor allows producers, who are operating with a drop-down kit, to catch material from both decks and feed it directly into a second unit.
The additional length also adds more than 3 ft. of extra stockpiling height.
