Last month, representative companies of the Liquid Asphalt Distributors Association (LADA) presented informational seminars to Highway Superintendents at the 74th annual Cornell Local Road Program at Ithaca College, Ithaca, N.Y.
The subject matter presented by the LADA member companies included Cold Mix and Cold Patch, Emulsions and Aggregates. Peckham Industries representatives Ken Luskin, Dan Dearstyne, Kevin McCarthy, Rick Rosa and Jay Castimore presented practical information and used visual aids to educate the Highway Superintendents on aggregates.
“The aggregates presentation was well received and is part of the Peckham mission to teach and advise our customers so that they can make the educated and informed decisions needed to maintain their roadways,” the company stated. “Thanks to the other LADA member companies for participating in this event.”
The conference is an educational event co-sponsored by the NYS Association of Town Superintendents of Highways.
