APT Launches ADP 10 Dust Collection System

APT offers the new ADP 10 dust collection system kit, including a vacuum suction unit, 21-ft. suction hose, universal shroud connector, three dust collection bags and three bellows. This kit helps protect workers from exposure to crystalline silica on jobsites.

Using the Venturi principle, the ADP 10 creates a vacuum using compressed air. Consuming 25 cfm per tool, the vacuum suction capacity of the system is over 4 ft. of water.

To keep the environment clean and reduce exposure level for operators, the filter has the capacity of 99.58% filtration of exhaust air. A filter cleaning mechanism enhances the filter life and a vacuum indicator notifies the operator of a clogged filter.

Retractable strainers on the bottom of the unit hold a recyclable eco-friendly dust collection bag in place, preventing it from being sucked in. The strainers also allow enough suction space for the cyclone method in collecting dust.

Startup is simple, taking less than a minute, while transporting the 55-lb. unit around the jobsite is easy. The system comes with a foldable tripod stand, and to reduce stress on operators, the ADP 10 features handles to easily lift and maneuver. A trolley-mounted version is also available, which has the ability to store two working tools (chisel, moil point, etc.) and a pneumatic tool up to 90 lb.
