According to the Ontario Sand, Sand and Gravel Association, the Ministry of Natural Resources and Forestry (MNRF) organized an Aggregate Summit that took place on March 29, 2019, in Caledon, Ontario, Canada, with approximately 100 participants. The meeting began in a plenary format – with Minister John Yakabuski making introductory remarks. This was followed by three break-out sessions:
- Industry…how can we make life easier?
- Rehabilitation…how do we ensure sustainability and stewardship?
- Municipalities and Indigenous Communities…how can we work better with cities and Indigenous communities?
