The facility, which created three new jobs, officially opened for business in mid-December 2017 at 4032 Seaboard Court in Chesapeake, Va.

“This new location enables Luck Stone to better serve its customers in the large, growing South Hampton Roads region,” said Rick Rowland, regional sales manager for Luck Stone’s Eastern Region. “We believe that the Greenwood Yard is one of the largest rail-served aggregates distribution yards in the state,” Rowland added.

Within the South Hampton Roads and Peninsula areas, Luck Stone also operates the Berkley Yard in Norfolk, the Gilmerton Yard on Bainbridge Boulevard in Chesapeake, the Oyster Point Yard in Newport News, and the Toano Yard near Williamsburg.

Driven by a vision to positively impact communities by building value inspired by customers, Luck Stone offers more than 75 crushed stone products available in a variety of grades, colors, sizes and gradations.
