Granite Earns ‘Great Place to Work’ Designation

Granite announced that it has been certified as a great workplace by the independent analysts at Great Place to Work. Granite earned this credential based on extensive ratings provided by its employees in anonymous surveys

“We are extremely proud to receive this recognition as it is a testament to our dedicated and talented people and our unique culture,” said Granite President and Chief Executive Officer James H. Roberts. “We strive to create an environment that promotes growth, leadership and teamwork while continuing to honor and embody the core values that have been the foundation of our company for more than 95 years.”

“We applaud Granite for seeking certification and releasing its employees’ feedback,” said Kim Peters, executive vice president of Great Place to Work’s Certification Program. “These ratings measure its capacity to earn its own employees’ trust and create a great workplace – critical metrics that anyone considering working for or doing business with Granite should take into account as an indicator of high performance.”

“According to our study, 80 percent of Granite employees say it is a great workplace,” said Sarah Lewis-Kulin, vice president of Great Place to Work Certification & List Production.

Granite employees completed 1141 surveys, resulting in a 90 percent confidence level and a margin of error of ± 2.11.
