Fairmount Santrol announced results for the second quarter ended June 30, 2017. Second-quarter 2017 revenues were $233.2 million, up 35 percent from $172.6 million in the first quarter of 2017 and up 104 percent from $114.2 million in the second quarter of 2016.

Vista Opens Transload Facility in Pecos, Texas
Vista Proppants & Logistics (VPROP) has commenced commercial transload operations in Pecos, Texas, the newest addition to its terminal network. The facility has approximately 21,000 ft. of rail track that can hold two, 130-car unit trains and will be used for rail-to-truck frac sand transloading services.
