IEDA Names New President, Board Members

The Independent Equipment Dealers Association (IEDA) announced its new president and board members during the association’s Annual Meeting and Vendor Expo in Orlando, Fla. Members of the IEDA board of directors serve a maximum of two consecutive years and are responsible for establishing industry best practices and quality used equipment standards.

The association’s incoming president is Kevin Fox of Dewitt Equipment Co., Barrie, Ontario; new board members include Luke Brenner, Heavy Equipment Co., Austin; Kenneth Tysinger, May Heavy Equipment, Lexington, N.C.; and Chris Lohman, South Mountain Tractor, Tempe, Ariz. IEDA also named Kristin Waldie, BBA of CapStone Accounting, Minesing, Ontario, as treasurer. 

Outgoing board members include David Williams, International Construction Equipment (ICE), Lakewood Ranch, Fla.; Tanna and Rick Trout Machinery, Casper, Wyo.; Burt Cunningham, Global Tractor Co., Colleyville, Texas; and Maurice Matson, Matson Machinery Co., Scott Depot, W.Va.

During the annual meeting, all four retiring board members were presented with the IEDA Leadership Award, which is given to outgoing board members annually for their contribution to the organization.
