The National Stone, Sand and Gravel Association, during its recent webinar explaining the impact of the FAST Act, noted which House and Senate members voted against the bill.
Pam Whitted, senior vice president legislative and regulatory affairs, noted that this was not a republican or democratic bill, it was for all of America, and she reiterated that the industry still has work to do to convince the naysayers of the benefits of a bill of this magnitude.
