March 10, 2014 – The just-concluded ConExpo-Con/Agg 2014 exhibition in Las Vegas attracted close to 130,000 visitors, which exceeded the expected number, according to estimations from the Association of Equipment Manufacturers. The show covered a record 2.35 million sq. ft. of exhibit space. The show was a smashing success on almost every front. Manufacturers for the most part said leads were double from the last show. Attendees were in awe of the massive display of equipment, and many were in a buying mood. In the new Platinum Lot, across the street from the South Hall, the mood was somewhat less exuberant. The new area did not attract as many attendees, and for some exhibitors who were moved there from the Silver Lot, it was a bit of a let down. Look for a full report from Rock Products very soon.
