Day One Update

Day 1 ConExpo-Con/Agg

March 4, 2014 – An estimated 125,000 people are expected to descend on the Las Vegas Convention Center for ConExpo-Con/Agg. On Day One, sunny skies and warm temperatures meant brisk business in the outdoor lots, while inside the aisles were filled with construction industry professionals looking at the latest equipment and technology. A heavy slate of press events and product introductions kept the staff of Rock Products busy, while the Mining Media International VIP Show Guide was a must-have for many attendees.

Celebrities and notable personalities at the show included “Dirty Jobs” reality TV star Mike Rowe at the Caterpillar booth; country music singer Kip Moore at the CASE booth; and Devon Harris, the captain of the 1988 Jamaican Bobsled Team, which was the inspiration for the movie “Cool Runnings,” who was at the Sandvik booth.
