ACG Materials Acquires Pinnacle Materials’ Eagle Ford Division

ACG Materials, a subsidiary of Harrison Gypsum LLC in Norman, Okla., acquired the assets of Pinnacle Materials LLC’s, Eagle Ford Division in South Texas. Through the acquisition, ACG Materials will operate five aggregate pits previously managed by Pinnacle Materials. The aggregate mines, located in Dilley, Pearsall, Eagle Pass, and the Three Rivers area, provide hard aggregate substrates in the Eagle Ford Shale.

The ACG Materials headquarters will remain within Dilley, Texas, bringing along with them their core values of integrity, customer service, quality, and more than 55 years of experience, the company said.

“We (ACG Materials) are very excited to have a service position in the Eagle Ford,” said Jim Hill, vice president, sales. “As a prominent supplier of aggregate materials throughout North Texas and Oklahoma, I am confident that our mining experience and customer-focused culture will be well received in South Texas. We want to become the community leader and the preferred source of hard rock aggregate for producers and contractors in the area.”

ACG Materials will also provide all ancillary hardware items such as fencing, cattle guards and weir gates required for new drilling locations and other bulk materials to support site work for producers and contractors in the Eagle Ford Shale area.
