Swank Promoted at PHIL

August 1, 2013 – LeRoy Hagenbuch, P.E., co-founder and chief engineer of the engineering and machinery manufacturer Philippi-Hagenbuch, Inc. (PHIL) is pleased to announce the promotion of Danette Hagenbuch Swank to president from her current position as vice president of internal operations. Swank has been actively involved in the operations of PHIL since 1997 having worked in the Administration, Finance, Human Resource, Marketing and Operations departments.

Projects she has overseen during her 16-year career at PHIL include the 20,000 sq. ft. expansion of the manufacturing facility, streamlining communications between departments, contract negotiation, ongoing corporate strategic planning and the implementation of a corporate-wide wellness program. With Swank’s appointment to president, LeRoy Hagenbuch will continue as the chief engineer, working with customers on their needs while focusing on PHIL’s extensive R&D capabilities, intellectual property and new equipment inventions and design. The PHIL Intellectual Property department focuses on protecting new PHIL technologies, licensing of existing patents and protects PHIL’s intellectual property from patent infringement.
